JAM SESSIONS: Every 2nd & 4th Friday, February 13 – May 28, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Singers welcome!
COVER CHARGE ON ALL NIGHTS: $5.00. Cash bar, refreshments, informal seating.

MUSIC CLASSES
Winter-Spring 2004Music Theory
Saturdays 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Emphasizes jazz techniques as it covers the fundamentals of music theory; sight reading; chords and chord changes; and song form and content. This class, taught by WMC founder and creative director GERRY EASTMAN, is open to all levels, including rank beginners, who learn the basics through total immersion, observation, and hands-on participation with more experienced students. Learning is achieved in a supportive and unforced atmosphere.
Vocal Technique
Saturdays 3:30 – 7:00 p.m.
A practical course, this is where students can perfect their vocal performance skills while working with a live jazz ensemble and standard jazz compositions. Students learn vocal delivery, microphone technique, and how a vocalist leads a band. The course is taught by JIMMY SIGLER, a professional vocal performance coach who has worked with Dinah Washington, Phyllis Hyman, and many other great singers.
One-time registration fee: $35
Classes: $10/session; $80/ten sessions
Private tutoring: $25/half-hour
